Mad Bull I don't think there really was a mad bull - the field is right next to a hiking trail that sort of winds round a hill and the journey could be shortened by cutting through the field. Having said that we took the path all the same.
Down Settle As part of my job the other day, I had to take a young lad on a train trip. We took the historic and famed Carlisle - Settle line in northern England. The scenery en route is nothing short of breathtaking and Settle itself, the model fell town, straight out of James Herriot or something. Highly recommended day out - its a keen spot for caving and hiking enthusiasts but its a fun little place just to hang out in as well.
Mad French Bastard Elvis sends me this link here - some mad French horsin about in a Ferrarri, going very fast and breaking lots of laws - capturing it on camera, mind you!

Small Mercies My route to work is really getting more spectacular by the day, as the days lengthen a little. The sunrises over the Solway Firth are frequently million buck views. This was taken from a gate I pass every morning but it was later in the morning, around eleven, so the light is a bit washy but you can get the picture anyway.

Gervais You could use a good laugh, I know you could. So here, have a tip - I caught one episode that was being broadcast on Radio 1 over christmas there and nearly pished myself at it. My mate Rick then told me to get on it which I've not done till now. It's just three guys sitting about talking and taking the piss, but they're pretty fucking smart, comedy writer guys with scalpel sharp wit - the results are predictable. Go to the official site here and then, if you want the whole archive - go here.
